Founder’s Profile

For more than 20 years, Gary Gullo has been deeply involved with materials engineering and supplier management activities.  He has been fortunate to have been employed in the transoceanic telecommunications, aerospace, Naval defense, subsea oil & gas, medical device and robotics-automation fields.  These international experiences have provided Gary an invaluable exposure to many materials engineering challenges and multitudes of commodity groups; volumes ranging from small quantity sole-source specialty components to bulk material transoceanic and railroad containers. 

Gary’s career began in the medical device injection molding field however quickly branched out into a wide spectrum of other materials.  He has been actively involved with analytical laboratories and instrumentation, materials testing & qualification, failure mode analyses, specimen dissections, reverse engineering, positive materials identification and unknown materials investigations.  

In parallel Gary began working in the realms of supplier development-management-quality involving hundreds of North American and international suppliers.  He has performed multitudes of capability-capacity evaluations, onboarding activities and process mapping.  Gary has also performed dozens of internal and external audits as a certified lead auditor (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016) as well as third party and qualification test witnessing.  Gary’s internal auditing experience has led to performing internal process mapping, objective process audits and Lean methodology assessments.

Gary holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Master’s of Science degree both in Plastics Engineering, with concentrations in Materials Science.
